Heap Graph?
So,
massif
is the tool to use if you wonder about your heap.
"valgrind --tool=massif --stacks=yes
[exec]"
You even get pretty graphs, although I won't attempt to replicate them here. As there is no respect for ASCII art.
Note: valgrind > 1.3.2
